BEFORM has opened its new factory at Eggemoen. With a production area of over 8,000 square meters and state-of-the-art technology, this marks an important step in our commitment to the future of injection moulding and sustainable plastic production. The factory has been designed from the outset to deliver high quality, while setting a new standard for energy efficiency and environmentally friendly solutions in the industry.
Built for injection moulding from day one
The factory at Eggemoen has been planned and constructed with injection moulding as its core activity. By integrating smart production technology already in the design phase, we have created a facility that offers high precision and flexibility. Fully automated production cells with vision control and integrated packaging allow us to handle everything from small batches to larger production volumes in an efficient and scalable manner.

Sustainability in practice
One of the main goals of the new factory has been to reduce its environmental footprint. Through an extensive solar panel system combined with the recovery of excess heat from production, we have managed to halve energy consumption compared to traditional production facilities. The excess heat is used to warm up neighboring buildings, creating a circular utilization of energy that benefits the entire industrial area.
In addition, we produce more than 500 tonnes of recycled plastic material every year. This is part of our commitment to creating more responsible plastic production, where resources are utilized optimally and waste is reduced to a minimum.
